Saturday 9: Settling the Score

Settling the Score

1. Do you feel that you have “a score to settle” with anyone? I don’t believe in trying to get revenge.  I’ve found that holding on to anger just makes me miserable and doesn’t do anything to help me or hurt that person, so I’ve let it go.  Yes, I do have someone in my life that has made things very difficult, and I’d love to just see her out of my life with no contact anymore, but I still don’t have a “score to settle”.  She’s doing enough damage to her own life without me helping.

2. Do you own anything that you think is unbreakable? NOTHING is unbreakable! Of course, there are some pretty tough things…I’ve got a cast iron skillet that would be pretty tough to break.

3. Tell us about a crazy thing you did in high school. My girlfriend and I in the back of my Pinto station wagon – right outside the Air Force Base fence – crazy enough to see police lights from inside the fence. (Man, I hope my mom doesn’t read this one!)

4. Name the one talent of yours that you think is the best. Computer teaching skills.  I’ve always been able to translate “computer speak” into “human speak” really well.

5. Who wins American Idol? (if you don’t watch, tell us about a reality show that you do follow.) Haven’t watched this season.  I do like it, as well as the Amazing Race, and even an occasional dose of Survivor, but somehow life keeps getting in the way of TV!

6. What is your favorite movie in black & white? Night of the Living Dead

7. What is one thing advertised too much on TV? The latest greatest thing.  I get so tired of seeing the same commercial three times in the same show – no matter what it is.

8. What is your current favorite TV drama? Dexter

9. What is your current favorite TV comedy? Family Guy
